Iguanodont was a dinosaur with a horned, toothless beak and closely spaced teeth in both jaws. Each Iguanodont hand had four fingers and a single spine at the thumb that was perpendicular to the other fingers.
These spines may have been used for defence or for extracting food. Iguanodont had a flat, stiff tail and three-toed hind legs with hoof-like claws.
It was an herbivore and fed on prehistoric plants with its strong beak.
